A catalogue for fashion student Tayla Tompkins for her exhibition.

This was a fun project, getting to work with both fashion and photography students from Ara. The book was a showcase of her final collection for the Pitch Exhibition. It had to include her technical drawings, descriptions and price list for potential store buyers.

Her collection, ‘Uniform for the everyday women’, is an autumn-winter collection that centres around the wardrobe essentials for women. The essence of the garments denoted femininity, simplicity and versatility.

Goals reached in this project:

• To present Taylas collection in an industry-relevant format.

• Communicate reasons for design proposals and solutions to audiences and/or stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively to resolve and produce work to a specified industry standard.

• Present product in an industry-relevant format.
